Jesse Lingard has finally signed for a new club after leaving Nottingham Forest.
Lingard has joined South Korean club FC Seoul, having been released by the Reds at the end of last season after only one campaign at the City Ground. He is thought to have signed a two-year deal with the K-League club, with the option of a further year.
And speaking in a YouTube video, he said: “I’ve always wanted a different challenge and to create new memories in my career. I believe South Korea is the perfect place for that.”
Lingard said he received “many offers” before deciding to move to Seoul. And he has explained the reason for this surprise decision.
