Bouba Soumare is well in place at Sevilla, but still just two appearances from the bench to count, as life looks to continue out of the limelight. The latest match was an away fixture vs. Barcelona with Soumare not leaving his seat on the bench. He is currently competing with Joan Jordan and Djibril Sow for one of those two central midfield positions.

His two appearances so far came from the bench, playing Almeria (5-0) and Las Palmas (1-0), both wins as Sevilla are 13th with only two points away from the relegation zone. His chances to play from start could be close, but still life looks a bit like Leicester at this point.

Aston Villa are on a great run at the moment with yesterday’s 6-1 win taking them to 5th in Premier League, but no real influence from Youri Tielemans, who has been seen as a subs man, coming on yesterday in the 90th minute. He has so far been involved in 11 games, 7 in the league, 3 in Europe and 1 in Carabao Cup, but still probably not 100% satisfied as his role is a bit fringe.

James Maddison has seen his move to Tottenham as a fantastic change, playing his role for Ange Postecoglou to perfection, yesterday making troll passes, opening Liverpool like a can of red tomatoes. He has really found his place in this Spurs team, currently 2nd after that 2-1 home win yesterday.

Ayoze Perez is currently a player in demand at Real Betis, but the season start is not probably what expected. Rangers defeat in Europe, heavy beaten by Barca (0-5) and in the last two fixtures 1-1 draws against Granada and Cadiz. Perez (30) has so far scored one single goal in La Liga.

Also having an eye on Caglar Soyuncu, you will see that he has been a bit on the fringe at Atletico Madrid, only being involved in two La Liga outings. Jonny Evans (35) has no expectation of being a regular at Man Utd, but his presence has been shown in Carabao Cup 3-0 win vs. Crystal Palace and the Burnley win in Premier League, shows that the Northern Ireland captain can be of worth at Old Trafford.

Lewis Brunt went to Mansfield Town, and his loan looks to be working well as The Stags are currently 5th in League Two with 18 points, just two points behind Notts County, as they are current leaders. Luke Thomas, on loan at Sheffield United, looks to be in for a season relegation struggle, but since moving to Bramhall Lane, been a regular, starting in the 2-0 defeat to West Ham, away yesterday. Victor Kristiansen at Bologna, came on as a 2nd half sub in the 0-0 away draw to Monza.
