The apparent priority for the Leicester City manager role has been named by a top Foxes source. The Telegraph have revealed the person emerging as a leading candidate and Foxes of Leicester will offer its verdict on the first-choice target. However, and tellingly, two others also remain on the shortlist of three potential bosses.
In addition to looking at possible team leaders, FoL examine a claim about the threatened Premier League points deduction situation. An actual amount has been suggested, with the possibility of further punishments to come. King Power Stadium is in a mess at the moment, but it could be partially straightened out by next week.

Keith Wyness has once again weighed in on alleged financial rule breaking by Leicester City Football Club. The one-time Everton personage has experienced problems at the highest level, so is therefore a decent source of information. He also runs a footballing consultancy agency with elite clients.
Here, Wyness suggests that relegation in the upcoming term would potentially trigger further imposed sanctions for the east Midlands outfit. This all stems from LCFC’s charge back in March of this year for earlier claimed breaches. Leicester’s counter allegations against the English top-flight and Championship division possibly caused the current delay in proceedings.
It is said to be a complex legal issue, partly due to two leagues being sued by the Foxes. Leicester’s action, Wyness says, will lead to the opportunity of lesser charges being off the table. “There won’t be any allowances for good behaviour”, he states. In spite of squad building problems and the need to make a positive start in 2024/25, he asserts that City probably have a “six point deduction” incoming.

West Bromwich Albion’s head coach Carlos Corberan is still on the Foxes’ wishlist. So too is Steve Cooper; the Ex-Nottingham Forest boss is not particularly wanted on Filbert Way by the Blue Army, from what I have seen.
Yet the standout prospect, as FoL see it, is seemingly the main choice for Leicester’s top position. We all know Graham Potter did an excellent job at Brighton & Hove Albion. He was lauded for his work at Ostersunds FK and Swansea City prior to the Seagulls era. Is Potter suitable for LCFC? Yes, I consider him pretty ideal to be honest. A general appointment is expected within seven days.
