One Newcastle player wishes to leave St James’ Park.

Newcastle United appear to have a lot of happy players right now, but one guy is looking to go, according to a new revelation from the man in question.

Will Newcastle make the top four?
The Magpies had been soaring until lately, with everything appearing to be going in the right direction after finishing fourth in the Premier League table last season. This qualified them for the Champions League for the first time since the early part of the century, which was a significant accomplishment for Eddie Howe and his team.

However, things have started to go wrong for Newcastle of late, with three league defeats in a row, albeit against Manchester City, Liverpool, and Brighton. A significant improvement is required fast, otherwise they risk falling farther behind their opponents in the top four competition.

There is no reason why fortunes should not improve, especially with some easier matches on the horizon, and the aim is that they win.

Newcastle United today boast a highly impressive roster – probably the best in Premier League history – full of players who appear to envisage their futures at St James’ Park, but that does not apply to one player.

Will Loris Karius go from Newcastle?

Loris Karius all but acknowledged to Corriere della Sera [via Sport Witness] that he wants to leave Newcastle, adding that he is “waiting” for the ideal time to arrive, in response to a question about a move to Serie A:

“It is a possible solution that I am considering.” It is possible that it will occur in the future. I used to watch Inter, Milan, and Juventus games on TV when I was a kid. But I don’t want to make a decision based solely on Aria and Diletta. I’m still looking for a solid job.”

In reality, Karius should look for a new club as soon as possible, as Howe plainly does not regard him as a regular between the sticks.
