The Foxes are still in recovery mode from the massive loss of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who departed Leicester City to re-join Enzo Maresca at Chelsea.

Ever since, Steve Cooper’s side have looked to bolster their midfield and attacking options ahead of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, which has seen experienced attacker Bobby De Cordova-Reid join up.

A permanent deal for Issahaku Fatawu was also struck after his brilliant loan spell and significant contribution to Leicester City’s promotion from the Championship.

Cooper has certainly aimed high in his recent pursuits for attackers, including Argentinian Matias Soule, who opted to stay in Serie A and move from Juventus to Roma.

Colombian winger Yaser Asprilla ‘on his way’ to Leicester City

Leicester City are reportedly closing in on a deal for Colombian and Watford star Yaser Asprilla, with the 20-year-old ‘on his way’ to Leicestershire, per Sebastien Denis on X.

The winger has opted for a move to the King Power ‘despite a concrete approach from Stade Rennais’.

Leicester City were recently reported to have ‘to battle it out with Champions League side Porto, whilst Ligue 1 outfit Rennes have also shown interest in signing the attacker’, however the Foxes have now emerged as the favourites in attaining the youngster.
