Crystal Palace are back in action on Saturday when they take on Leicester City hoping to secure their first Premier League win of the season. The Eagles have just one point to their name so far, but they did look much improved in their last outing before the break – a 1-1 away draw with Chelsea.
Oliver Glasner has a strong squad at his disposal this season and he will be expected to kick on after a solid finish to last season. But there has been some turnover, with Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen both departing, and it will take a little time for Palace to find their feet, with new signings Maxence Lacroix, Eddie Nketiah and the likes needing time to find their feet at Selhurst Park.
Although, two of their new signings will need some extra time due to injury, with Radi Chad ruled out for a few weeks, while the final signing of the summer, Trevoh Chalobah, who arrived on loan from Chelsea, is a fresh blow.
Glasner revealed: “He (Chalobah) injured his abdominal muscle in his first session with us. It’s a really strange injury. He’s also not available tomorrow. It won’t take very long. He’s questionable for QPR and Man United as well.”
