West Ham United star Lucas Paqueta reportedly has his heart set on a big move to Manchester City.

The Hammers star allegedly has an £85 million release clause that will become active in 2024.

David Moyes will be absolutely desperate to keep the 26-year-old at the London Stadium beyond the end of this season.

The Brazilian had apparently agreed to join Man City in the summer, before it emerged that he was under investigation for breaches of betting rules.

Paqueta hasn’t allowed a failed move to Manchester City disrupt his season with West Ham though. He has been absolutely brilliant for us. However, the bad news is that it might nto be too long before he’s on his way…

The attacking midfielder is definitely good enough to play for Pep’s side – he has been a standout player in the Premier League so far this season.

Paqueta is technically brilliant, has unbelievable flair and often showcases his tremendous skill. However, he’s far from a show-pony and never shirks his defensive responsibilities.

The South American is tenacious and aggressive as they come and he never backs down from a physical battle.

Losing the 26-year-old to Manchester City would be be a bitter pill to swallow for the Hammers.

However, the good news is that he won’t be going anywhere for less than £85 million, so if we are forced into selling him at least we’ll make a huge profit on the deal.
