Analysis of the draft warns against discounting former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, who won the Heisman Trophy, in the NFL.

Bryce Young, the Carolina Panthers’ starting quarterback, has faced challenges during the 2024 NFL season. Through 12 games, he has completed 60.2% of his passes for 1,949 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions. His passer rating stands at 76.2, ranking 28th among NFL quarterbacks.

In the 2023 season, Young started all 16 games, throwing for 2,877 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, with a passer rating of 73.7.

These statistics indicate a decline in performance from his rookie year to the current season. The Panthers have struggled, leading to discussions about Young’s future with the team.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, December 29, 2024, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 10:00 AM PST.
