Report: Tottenham have sacked chief scout Leonardo Gabbanini

Multiple reports have revealed that Tottenham have parted ways with chief scout, Leonardo Gabbanini, with journalist Matt Law even using the word ‘sacked’. 

Football London say that Gabbanini has left his role at Tottenham despite working closely with Ange Postecoglou during the recent summer transfer window.

During this time, Spurs signed the likes of James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Manor Solomon, Ashley Phillips, Alejo Veliz, and Brennan Johnson.

This seems very strange just as Tottenham appear to have found their groove with scouting young players again. However, I’m sure there is a plan in place to bring in a new chief scout who aligns with what Postecoglou needs at Spurs.
