Despite his age, Kevin Nita is an accomplished sportsman, with football, running and boxing in his repertoire.

Now, Kevin has the chance to take his footballing passion one step further with a trial at Chelsea FC.

The youngster, who plays at right wing, will face the London giants next month.

Proud dad Alex said: “It’s a whole day of testing.”

Much of Kevin’s daily routine revolves around sport, with Wednesday being his only free day in the week.

Alex said: “He’s so busy with football, he plays with Great Bentley.

“He trains at SCS Academy and Colchester United.”

In addition, Kevin also does gymnastics and formerly did boxing until the training sessions clashed with his football commitments.

He also encourages others to keep fit, personally and through his Instagram account, set up by his family.

Alex said: “We are about to reach 1,000 followers in about a month or two.

“He’s going to make a giveaway and give back to others – boots, shorts, football.

“He’s got friends he’s trying to bring into football.

“Wherever we go to train, because of his physicality, he’s encouraging friends to go out for runs and build up their physicality.”
