Anthony Elanga, a forward for Nottingham Forest, has rejoined the team following a minor injury. The 21-year-old didn’t participate in Sweden’s 5-0 victory over Estonia yesterday.

Fotbolls EM now claims that the player has left the training facility. In order to receive treatment prior to the Reds’ match against Burnley on Monday, he will now return to Forest.

During the summer transfer window, Forest paid Manchester United £15 million to acquire Elanga. Last Saturday, he scored his first goal of the year as the Reds defeated Chelsea.

Forest will now have to wait in suspense to learn the full magnitude of the damage. He is thought to have discovered the small issue when working with the international squad during a training session.

Yesterday, Elanga was reportedly sitting on Sweden’s bench. The player, though, was hurt and was not going to be unveiled before the match.

Elanga has now come back to Forest rather than getting ready to face Austria. Steve Cooper will be praying that the athlete recovers quickly and that this turns out to be nothing more than a minor ailment.

Elanga sustains an injury, leaving Forest in suspense.

Not good news, this. Given how many injuries derailed last season for Forest fans, it’s understandable if they feel a sense of déjà vu in this area.

Elanga is off to a great start in his Forest career. With a goal and an assist already under his belt, the forward for Sweden appears to have a very promising future.

The quick performer will anticipate recovering quickly. If this is truly a niggle, Forest may be grateful that he is free to leave the camp and won’t run the risk of aggravating it by competing for Sweden in the middle of the week.
