According to an NBC report, Josh Heupel, the head coach of the University of Tennessee, has negotiated a substantial pay increase and contract extension, increasing his yearly compensation to $13 million. With this $6 million raise, Heupel's pay now surpasses that of some of the biggest names in college football, such as Brian Kelly of LSU, Nick Saban of Alabama, Kirby Smart of Georgia, and Jimbo Fisher of Texas A&M.
