Grant McCann says he has sensed a determination within the Rovers squad to right a few wrongs on the latest trip to Barrow
Last term’s away day at Holker Street a year ago was a particularly disappointing outing for Rovers and McCann revealed there has been some references to that evening throughout the week.
“The boys have spoken about what happened there last season, those that were involved,” McCann said. “We want to go there and make sure we put a performance on.
“We’re never ones for speaking about things previous but I’ve heard a few of the boys mentioning it in passing. I’m sure they want to go there and right the wrongs, whoever was involved there last season.
“But it’s a new season, new challenges, new players and staff so we want to just go there, put up a challenge and hopefully send our fans home happy.”
