The Reds produced the best performance of the season and registered a 3-0 win in their last home game against Grimsby but followed it up by losing 5-0 at Stockport on Saturday, with Parkinson suffering the heaviest defeat since he took charge of the club.
Winning has become a habit for Wrexham in recent seasons so the manner of the Stockport was a big shock to the system as the seven-game unbeaten run in League Two came to a shuddering halt, and the Reds’ boss is looking for an immediate response.
