Ipswich Town might be a potential destination for Rangers’ attacker during the summer transfer season. After bidding goodbye to his teammates…
Brighton and Leicester City could prove to be desirable destinations for Rangers attacker Zak Lovelace in the summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old’s contract at Ibrox runs out at the end of the season and the Daily Record reported on 7 February that it still isn’t certain whether or not he’s won his spot in Philippe Clement’s first-team plans.
However, since then, he’s made just four senior appearances and currently has returned to B Team action after being ruled out with a serious hamstring injury since October.
Should he not get more game time from now until the end of the season, there is every possibility he opts to leave Ibrox.
Brighton may tempt Lovelace to leave Rangers
Brighton are known to be one of Europe’s best clubs to nurture young talents and making them bonafide first-team players that fetch eight and nine figures too which was the case with Moises Caicedo.
At 18, Lovelace is still a number of years away from peaking and signing him on a free transfer comes with very little risk.
Rangers know that they cannot hold on to talents like him for too long but the next thing should be to give him game time and tie him down to a new deal.
Even Ross McCausland was linked with the exit door but ensuring he signed a new contract, gives Gers power in the market.
They can then dictate how much to demand for him when clubs like Brighton and Leicester come calling.
Even if it’s this summer, Leicester have a good chance of getting promoted to the Premier League so they will have that extra money to bring in new players.
In other Rangers news, never-seen-before footage has emerged as it’s been shared what the Ibrox faithful did to Oscar Cortes v Livingston.
