France U21 international Micheal Olise (22) has suffered another injury setback. He is set to miss several weeks after coming off against Brighton and Hove Albion.

It has been a nightmare season for Olise, who missed the first months of the Premier League season after suffering a muscular injury whilst on France U21 international duty in June, which sidelined him for a total of four months. After suffering a scare at the end of a 3-2 victory over Sheffield United, the attacker was nonetheless brought on against Brighton just days later.

Having come on at half-time, Olise had to come off just 10 minutes later. Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Olise has suffered a “serious” hamstring injury, which according to the AFP, will rule him out for several weeks, although the Premier League club are yet to communicate a return date for the influential playmaker, who is certainly having a season to forget.
