But ahead of the game against Arsenal the state of Rush Green is no laughing matter because it has actually impacted West Ham’s preparations.

We reported on Hammers News yesterday about the shoddy state of the entrance to West Ham’s training base – which is missing the letter M off the club’s name.

The game is big for West Ham’s top six hopes and vital for Arsenal’s title chances.

But instead of working on their game plan within the privacy and sanctity of their own training base, the Hammers have been forced to train at the London Stadium ahead of the match.
