Daniel Farke has a few options where he could change his Leeds United XI tonight.
The Whites were able to rest some key players late on against Rotherham United on Saturday but with a busy few days of travelling this week, some rotation could be required.
Farke has found a settled starting XI over the last couple of weeks but there are a couple of positions where he may be tempted to change things in order to keep some players fresh.
Dan James is expected to be back in the squad for the first time since last month’s win over Norwich City, but it is at right-back where Phil Hay believes a change is most likely.
Speaking on the latest episode of the Square Ball Podcast, Hay thinks the only alteration could be Connor Roberts being handed his full debut in place of Archie Gray, against his former club.
Hay moots full debut for Roberts
He said: “The only change I could see is Roberts in for Gray and I can’t even think of a way I can explain why I would do that. Apart from the fact Roberts is very good and it might give Gray a bit of a rest, but Gray isn’t even looking like he needs a rest.”
Roberts made his debut for the Whites in the final 20 minutes of Saturday’s win over Rotherham United, having been unavailable for the first two matches following his deadline day move.
