The Turkish media today highlights how unlikely it will be that Leicester City get forced to buy Yunus Akgun from Galatasaray at the end of the season.

As pointed out by NTV Spor, the Foxes would need to purchase the player for €9m in case he has 25 starts with the Foxes this season.

The problem is that he only started in eight matches so far, and that’s why it would take a ‘miracle’ for him to reach the goal in the coming months.

That’s only bad news for Galatasaray, who wanted to guarantee the sale, because Leicester City actually have something good to take from it.

It’s said the Foxes have a non-obligatory buying option over Akgun at the end of the season, and would then only need to pay €8m to get the signing done.

So far, the midfielder has two goals and two assists in 18 appearances for Leicester City, having stayed on the bench in their last three Championship matches.

Seeing by how things have been going, it would be no surprise if the Foxes try to negotiate for an even smaller fee.
