Micah Richards has heaped praise on Jaden Philogene – who Aston Villa sold in 2023 – heralding him as a unique talent.
The 35-year-old made the comments when speaking to Gary Lineker on The Rest Is Football podcast.

Well, Aston Villa surprisingly decided to sell the England U21 international to Hull City back in September for a sum of £5m.
That was despite the fact Philogene impressed Unai Emery during pre-season.
Now – after the Hull City No.23 scored a quite remarkable goal against Rotherham – Richards has spoken very highly of the winger.
The man who made 31 appearances for Aston Villa said: “It was ridiculous… wow. A little bit of freedom, a little bit of flair to even try it. The audacity to do that… and then the execution was just sublime. So difficult to do.”
