777 Partners, located in Miami, is nearing an agreement to buy Everton.
Since the revelation that MSP Sports Capital, a New York-based entity, had dissolved its exclusive arrangement with Moshiri, the multi-club investors have been in talks with him.
The organization 777 already owns a number of football clubs, including Sevilla, Hertha Berlin, and Standard Liege, with fans of the Belgian club protesting their involvement in their previous game.
The 777 acquisition would be a full takeover after all Premier League conditions are met, which might take several months.

Everton make a choice on a loanee from Leeds United as Premier League squad numbers are revealed.
Last month, Leeds United permitted Jack Harrison to make his Premier League debut against Everton.
This season, Jack Harrison will wear the number 11 shirt for Everton in the Premier League.
Leeds United fans were upset when the winger turned off a potential promotion push to join the Premier League strugglers on a season-long loan. Harrison signed a five-year contract at Elland Road just five months ago, appearing to commit his future to the club.
Leeds manager Angus Kinnear questioned the deal at the time, as the Toffees, who had yet to win a Premier League game, appeared doomed to relegation. “From my perspective, going on loan to Everton, with (the situation) they are in, versus staying at Leeds and getting them promoted, there is a valid choice to make there,” he stated after the agreement.
“We were surprised,” he explained to the Square Ball Podcast. “At the time, in order to secure Jack Harrison on a new contract with a wage reduction if we went down, those were the types of things that were in place.”
Harrison is yet to make his Everton debut owing to a hip injury sustained prior to the Merseyside move. When the winger makes his debut for Sean Dyche’s side, he will wear the number 11 jersey he wore for Leeds last season.
‘I’m incredibly happy to be here,’ Harrison remarked in his first interview with Everton. “The general feeling from the Club has been extremely positive, so I’m just hoping to get back in shape and back on the field as soon as possible.”
‘It’s a huge club. I remember coming to Goodison Park and finding it difficult because of the fans and the fantastic environment that the people provide for Everton, so I’m happy to be on the other side of it and a part of it, and maybe bring something they can shout about as well.”
