Everton have received offers from Arsenal and Manchester United for the transfer of Amadou Onana in the summer.
The Belgian midfielder has impressed at Goodison Park this season. He is on the radar of numerous top clubs, including Barcelona. However, it’s Arsenal and Manchester United who have reportedly made their first moves to sign him.
Arsenal have made a bid to sign Amadou Onana from Everton
Arsenal are expected to make a big signing in midfield in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Thomas Partey has been linked with a move away from the Emirates, while Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny are both out of contract in the summer.
A new midfielder is a necessity, and one player who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal for months now is Amadou Onana of Everton.
FFP regulations prohibited the Gunners from making a move to sign the Belgian last month, but if Spanish outlet Sport are to be believed, Everton have offers on the table from both Arsenal and Manchester United.
The report claims that Barcelona want Onana too and are willing to offer £34.2 million (€40m) for his signature. Everton, on the other hand, are holding out for £51 million (€60m), which is just too much for the Catalans.
