One Wolves star has been rewarded for their fantastic form with a Premier League Player of the Month nomination for February.

Wednesday night also saw the club progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals at Molineux for only the third time this century with a 1-0 victory over Brighton.
Many players have been in fantastic form during this time, but one player who has received recognition for his performances is Joao Gomes.
Joao Gomes earns Premier League nomination
The midfielder has been vital to Wolves’ success this month. The club collected two memorable victories in the league to help them propel up the table.
Firstly, the Brazilian was fundamental in the side’s 4-2 victory over Chelsea. The midfielder picked up an assist at Stamford Bridge as the club completed the double over the Blues. Then, Joao Gomes followed it up by netting twice past Spurs to earn another 2-1 victory over the Londoners. His performance was hailed as ‘sensational’, with many viewing him as the best player on the field.
On top of this, the Brazilian finished the month with a league-leading 23 tackles in February, a highly impressive feat.
