Mark Robins has stuck with an unchanged side to face mid-table Watford on a day when influential midfielder Ben Sheaf is back in the matchday squad after six weeks out with injury.

The 26-year-old has been back in full training all week and takes a place on the bench on his return to fitness as the Sky Blues set up with exactly the same line-up that started against Rotherham United on Tuesday night.

That means Brad Collins keeps his place ahead of Ben Wilson in goal, while the back three lines up with Bobby Thomas and Liam Kitching either side of Joel Latibeaudiere at the heart of the central defensive trio. Josh Eccles is once again deployed out of position at right wing-back, ahead of Milan van Ewijk, while Jake Bidwell is again preferred to Jay Dasilva on the left.

Victor Torp and Liam Kelly continue in central midfield with Kasey Palmer just ahead of them in the number ten role behind the front two strikers of Ellis Simms and Haji Wright. Matty Godden and Fabio Tavares provide striking back-up from the bench along with the attacking midfield threat of Callum O’Hare, who is expected to be introduced later in the game.
