Lucas Paqueta’s “head will be turned” if a big club submits an offer to West Ham United.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Hammers and Celtic striker Frank McAvennie claimed if the likes of Man City, Real Madrid or Juventus make a move for the Brazilian, he will opt to quit the Irons.
As revealed by Football Insider (27 February), Pep Guardiola’s side have already paved the way for a new swoop for the midfielder following interest in 2023.
His stand-out displays at the London Stadium have made many Hammers fans expect a big-money departure in the near future.

McAvennie claimed that West Ham chairman David Sullivan would quickly accept an appropriate offer for the 26-year-old even though Paqueta appears to be enjoying life at the London club.
“If he’s not happy then he’s not showing it,” he told Football Insider.
“He looks like he’s really enjoying himself at West Ham.
“If an offer comes in from a bigger club, like Man City, Real Madrid or Juventus, they’re going to get him.
“His head will be turned because there’s no way he will refuse a big offer from a club like that.
“But I look at him and he’s enjoying himself.
“I don’t think Paqueta would be too hurried to move.
“But if a good offer does come in, Mr Sullivan will tell him that he’s off!”
