The 2023 summer transfer window was an extremely busy one for West Ham United manager David Moyes.
West Ham boss David Moyes lost his club captain Declan Rice to Arsenal in a £105 million deal, and there were numerous other high profile exits from the London Stadium.
Gianluca Scamacca, Manuel Lanzini and Flynn Downes all left the Hammers, whilst Moyes brought in a handful of exceptional talents including Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez.
On the whole, it seems like we did pretty well out of the summer transfer window business. West Ham are currently sitting in seventh spot in the Premier League table and have a Europa League quarter-final clash with Bayer Leverkusen to look forward to next month.
The problem for Moyes is that he faces a big summer rebuild at the London Stadium once again in a few month’s time, with as many as 12 West Ham players being linked with leaving.
However, there will be one man returning to the club it seems, and most Hammers fans would have completely forgotten that he even existed!
