Leeds United are set to replace the fan stones outside Elland Road and will make an announcement shortly, according to supporter liaison officer Mark Pitts.
Pitts emailed a fan to update about the bricks purchased by supporters with the fans’ names on them, which are placed outside of Elland Road after concerns were raised about their condition.
Leeds are now expected to make a statement to let fans know how the process will be carried out in the latest development at the home stadium.
Leeds United to make Elland Road announcement shortly
This latest step to address concerns raised by the fans is yet more evidence of the strong relationship and understanding of the club 49ers Enterprises have built up since their takeover at Elland Road following the relegation last summer.
The supporters at Elland Road are the life of the club, and to have such a strong relationship that their concerns are quickly addressed and made clear with no further questions asked will only further the praise for their ownership.
This has come shortly after it was reported that the major reason for Ethan Ampadu making the move to Elland Road was down to the owners, as he wouldn’t have done so under the previous ownership which was labelled “unstable”.
