There truly is no rest for the wicked, and despite only just losing to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, Everton are right back in action again tomorrow night against Newcastle United.
Whilst the Toffees are fresh off the back of a crushing late defeat on the south coast, the hosts will instead be buoyed, having rallied from 3-1 down to win 4-3 courtesy of some late Harvey Barnes magic.
They showed spirit, and despite the injuries suffered they were electric and incisive in their attacking play. Sean Dyche could only dream of such football.
He will have an almighty task on his hands to forge a Premier League result here after so long without, and his team selection is guaranteed to be of paramount importance.
Predicted XI for Everton vs Newcastle United
Dyche is expected to make four changes from the side that whimpered to defeat on the south coast on Saturday.
Although he has endured a tough relationship with the Geordies, due to his ties to rivals Sunderland, Jordan Pickford represents by far the best goalkeeping option they boast.
As such, it is unlikely we see him dropped again for their trip to St James’ Park.
