Brentford goalkeeper Ellery Balcombe has signed a new four-year contract.
The 23-year-old, who has been at the club since the age of eight, has extended his stay until 2027. The club holds the option of a further year.
Balcombe has been capped by England at Under-18, U19 and U20 level and made his senior debut for Brentford in the Carabao Cup against Newport County in August, saving two penalties in a shootout victory.
Frank said: “I’m happy that Ellery has extended his contract; he is a Brentford person, through and through.
“I’m so pleased that he got his deserved debut against Newport and had an unbelievable impact in the penalty shootout.
“No player’s pathway is the same. Ellery has been on a natural path as a goalkeeper: going on loans, developing and returning to us. You can see how hard he has worked and how much he has put in.
