Carlos Corberan has been pleased with the job carried out by West Bromwich Albion’s utility man Adam Reach, after he made a positive impact from the bench on Monday afternoon and helped Albion fight from two goals down to draw 2-2 against Watford at The Hawthorns.
Reach, who is into his third season at the club, struggled with injuries last year and then suffered a set-back in pre-season last summer, which meant that he wasn’t in a position to return to action until December, when he appeared from the bench late on to help the Baggies secure their 1-0 victory over Leeds United.
Arriving at the club, then under Valerien Ismael, as a winger, Reach has proven to be a useful and reliable figure to Corberan, who has utilised him in a number of different positions since his return from injury – including in central midfield on Monday, as he partnered fellow substitute Yann M’Vila in the middle and helped to influence Albion’s late comeback which further cemented their place in the Championship play-off places.
