West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberan has praised his side’s “mentality and belief” as they compete for a Championship play-off place.
The Baggies travel to Stoke on Saturday having gone behind in four of their last five games and remained unbeaten.
Last week, they rescued a point at home to Watford, and Corberan wants his players to maintain belief.
“I think in football, it is always important to face challenges,” he told BBC Radio WM.
“When you start losing one game, you need a mentality that doesn’t allow you to give up and keep believing in yourself and your possibilities.”
Corberan is aware of the challenge his side face in the Potteries and says his players must dig deeper to compete away from home.
“Sometimes, it’s easier when these games happen at home. The fans can help you find a way to increase your energy and your belief.
“To do this, while playing away, is even more of a challenge. You need to be ready to face everything.”
