‘It felt mental’… sensational ace gem says after….

Nottingham Forest have a number of players out on loan at the moment with several EFL outfits benefitting from the Reds being in the Premier League.

Lewis O’Brien is currently at Middlesbrough, Emmanuel Dennis is at Watford and Omar Richards is currently plying his trade with Olympiacos.

Elsewhere, Forest have let a number of youngsters get valuable game time under their belts. Alex Mighten, for example, is at Port Vale and Brandon Aguilera has joined Bristol Rovers.

Now, one loan player has explained how he fulfilled a dream come true yesterday. He was in action during one of the showpiece EFL finals at Wembley and endured a bittersweet afternoon.

Nottingham Forest gem Dale Taylor scores at Wembley

The young Northern Ireland international joined Wycombe in the summer transfer window. Yesterday, he almost etched his name into the Chairboys’ record books but ultimately things ended in tears.

Taylor was on the bench for the EFL Trophy final against Peterborough and after Posh had taken the lead in the 85th minute, the Forest starlet was summonsed.

With his first touch of the ball, Taylor blasted Wycombe level to send the fans behind the goal into delirium and raise the Wembley roof.
