Sunderland are Leeds’ next opponents, one of only seven sides to claim victory against them this season at the Stadium of Light.

Monday’s pre-match press conference from Farke brought a concerning update on the fitness of ever-present summer signing Ethan Ampadu.

The Wales international played a full 90 once again at the weekend away to Coventry, but Farke confirmed the stand-in captain has been suffering from illness, leaving him a doubt for the game tonight.Image for Ethan Ampadu more or less confirms Leeds United involvement tonight through social media post

A training session took place this morning to give Ampadu a chance to get himself ready for tonight, which Farke was eager to see him available for.
