Daniel Farke and his Leeds side are into crunch time in the automatic promotion race, with results the only thing that matters right now.
Sunderland are Leeds’ next opponents, one of only seven sides to claim victory against them this season at the Stadium of Light.
Monday’s pre-match press conference from Farke brought a concerning update on the fitness of ever-present summer signing Ethan Ampadu.
The Wales international played a full 90 once again at the weekend away to Coventry, but Farke confirmed the stand-in captain has been suffering from illness, leaving him a doubt for the game tonight.
A training session took place this morning to give Ampadu a chance to get himself ready for tonight, which Farke was eager to see him available for.
