The 19-year-old has served as an important member of Juventus’ match-day squad this season. Iling Junior has made three appearances for the Turin outfit during this campaign, picking up one assist in the process across all competitions.

The talented teenager has seen all of his game time come as a substitute which explains why he is only averaging 1.7 tackles, 0.3 shots and 0.3 key passes per game in Serie A. He has been accurate when distributing possession in the final third based on his pass completion rate of 80.6% in the Italian top tier (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the Turin club will run out in the summer of 2025. Thus, Everton will have to make a good offer if they want to win the race for his services next year.

Everton Are Among The Clubs Hoping To Land Iling Junior: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Iling Junior is a good dribbler with the ball and can make some driving runs with the ball out in the wide areas. He can create the odd chance for his teammates and can shoot the ball with power from long range.

The Islington-born talent is primarily a left-sided winger but can even function as a right-winger if asked to do so by his manager. However, he is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level.

Still, there is no denying that Iling Junior is a prospect to watch out for in the future. Hence, he would be a great, long-term acquisition for Everton boss Sean Dyche to pull off next year.

Iling Junior is already good enough to serve as a decent presence in the Merseyside club’s squad. He has the potential to become a success story at Goodison Park in the long run as long as Dyche is willing to be patient with his development.
