José Ramírez played a key role with two-run singles and getting on base five times as the Cleveland Guardians defeated Texas 7-0 on Monday night, leading the Rangers to their first four-game losing streak of the season.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt praised Ramírez, highlighting his consistent performance and impact on the game. He mentioned that Ramírez’s contributions are always impressive and that he’s a joy to watch.

The Guardians showcased strong pitching, with five pitchers teaming up for a four-hit shutout against the defending World Series champions. This win followed their previous shutout victory over the Chicago White Sox, marking their first consecutive shutout since August 5-6, 2020.

Nick Sandin, who entered the game in the sixth inning with the bases loaded, made a crucial contribution by striking out Adolis García, Texas’ top home run and RBI leader, and retiring Josh Smith on a ground out.
