The management of the Marlins was shocked to learn about…
Miami Marlins manager Skip Schumaker on Tuesday nearly suffered the same fate New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone did last month.
Boone was ejected from the Yankees’ April 22 contest against the Oakland Athletics at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y. The scene went viral because the Yankees skipper got thrown out for something a fan had said.
Schumaker felt Boone’s pain for a brief moment during Tuesday’s game between the Marlins and the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit, Mich.
With two outs in the top of the second inning, Schumaker seemingly got tossed by home plate umpire Ben May despite barely saying a word.
