As reigning Super Bowl champions, the Chiefs will kick off the 2024-25 NFL with a game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 8:20 p.m. on NBC.

Despite being the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Chiefs only have the 16th toughest schedule in the league.
The Chiefs open the season with a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game against the Ravens. The 11-6, No. 3 seed Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes took down the 13-4, No. 1 seed Ravens and Lamar Jackson in Baltimore to reach their fourth Super Bowl in five seasons.
Looking past the season opener, we’ve got a rematch of the 2022 and 2023 AFC Championships between the Chiefs and Bengals/Joe Burrow. Burrow makes his return from a wrist injury as well.
A Super Bowl rematch with the 49ers comes in Week 7, another installment of the Chiefs-Bills/Mahomes-Allen rivalry hits us in Week 11 and then Mahomes plays his first game against C.J. Stroud in Week 16.
