It is clarified that although West Ham and Spurs have both shown interest in the Moroccan international, Sevilla cannot afford to wait for the London teams to decide.

According to Diario de Sevilla, Sevilla have no intention of waiting for an offer to arrive from Tottenham Hotspur for Youssef En-Nesyri as they are in a hurry to sell the centre-forward.

Several Seville-based outlets have credited Spurs with an interest in En-Nesyri over the last few days and Dario de Sevilla have now become the latest to report on the matter, stating that the La Liga side want an ‘urgent’ sale.

This is because they need to raise funds before the end of this month in order to offset their losses and are thus looking for a quick solution.

It is explained that both Spurs and West Ham have expressed an interest in the Moroccan international but Sevilla simply cannot afford to wait around for the London duo to make a decision.

Until now, neither Premier League side have launched an offer for En-Nesyri, who is thought to be valued at €30m (£25.5m).

However, it is explained that should both clubs act, the Hammers may have a slight advantage in the race as Julen Lopetegui has worked with the striker at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

While Tottenham will want to do most of their transfer business early, I do not think that is likely to apply to the centre-forward role.

This is because Spurs’ decision on who to sign will likely depend on Richarlison’s future and it might be a case of waiting to see what kind of offers they receive for the Brazilian.
