Graham Potter is odds favourite to become the next Leicester manager. The former Chelsea and Brighton boss used to drive together with Enzo Maresca to training when the two played together at West Bromwich Albion, as we do believe the Englishman was the one driving the car, most of the time.
Life tends to go in circles and this time we could see Chelsea and Leicester being in the heat of the action, hopefully having Graham Potter in place later today or as early as possible.
Steve Cooper and Oscar Garcia are two others that have spoken to the Leicester hierarchy and could be seen as alternatives if Graham Potter again decline an offer from Leicester, as he is said to have done twice, both for the vacancy when Brendan Rodgers stepped down and again after Dean Smith had ended his interim period
Hopefully instead it could be “third time lucky” for Leicester, as an appointment of Graham Potter would look like a major upgrade as well as receiving £10million in compensation for their former manager.
Potter, if taking charge of Leicester will build on brilliant work done at Ostersund, Swansea and Brighton. His time at Chelsea was cut short and he was not given enough time to set any mark on his period at Stamford Bridge.
The odds on Graham Potter is down to 5/4 with Cooper sailing in the other direction, currently 13/8.
