TuttoJuve reporter Mirko Di Natale claims that Newcastle and Tottenham have approached Southampton to find out more about the Argentinian’s availability now he’s returned to St. Mary’s.

Juventus signed the versatile 21-year-old in January on an initial loan that included an option to sign him for £42m this summer. However, the Italian giants have opted against a permanent deal after 12 appearances over the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Alcaraz completed a £12m move to Southampton from Argentinian side Racing Club in January last year and can play in midfield, out wide or as a No.10.

This isn’t actually the first time we’ve been linked with the South American, with talkSPORT reporting that Eddie Howe was considering a move this time last summer following Southampton’s relegation.
