Nottingham Forest have today completed the signing of a new player – and it feels like an exciting one.
Eric da Silva Moreira has checked in from St Pauli with the versatile getting announced earlier this afternoon.
The 18-year-old can play in a number of positions and will perhaps link up with the club’s B-Team in the short-term.
Forest have beaten a host of other clubs to his signature and the 18-year-old looks like a talented player to bring to the squad.
Now, with the ink drying on his City Ground contract, Moreira has shared what he hopes to bring to Forest.

Moreira has been playing for the academy ranks at St Pauli but he does have a brief appearance to his name in the first-team.
Last season he scored once and claimed one assist for the under-21 team during 10 appearances for the German club.
Moreira typically operates on the left but he can play in an attacking or defensive role whichever side of the pitch he plays on.
This signing feels like Forest have got the right profile of player and he’s offered supporters a guide to what type of player he is.
He told the club’s official YouTube channel: “I’m a really fast player, I like to go one v one in defence and attack and I like to be hard in my duels and my opponents will get to know that.”
