Brighton are leading Everton, Borussia Dortmund and Lyon in the race to secure the services of Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh, according to Mark Douglas.
The I journalist reported on 28 June that the Seagulls have advanced talks over a deal likely to cost north of £30million.
The 19-year-old is relaxed about his future, but would fancy a move to a Premier League side, so Brighton appears to be a destination he would be open to this summer.

The two deals were initially linked, with Minteh potentially moving to Goodison Park as part of a separate deal.
However, with Newcastle no longer interested in Calvert-Lewin, the Merseyside outfit’s leverage in the Minteh deal has diminished significantly.
Moreover, Brighton’s advanced talks and their willingness to spend over £30million for the 19-year-old put them in a stronger position.
