Marseille have accepted a bid from Everton of around £20m for Ndiaye, who made it clear he is very keen to move to Goodison Park.

Everton will look to boost their goal threat

Last season Everton were the second lowest-scoring team in the Premier League, with only Sheffield United managing to find the back of the net fewer times.

It’s a prominent area for Sean Dyche to improve upon for the forthcoming season, and securing a new striker ahead of pre-season will be a positive step in that direction.

Ndiaye scored four goals last season for Marseille while also creating five assists.

The Senegal international also boasts experience in England, having played for Sheffield United, where he scored 21 goals in 76 appearances.

It now remains to be seen whether this signing will open the door for Dominic Calvert-Lewin to leave Goodison Park this summer amid interest from Newcastle United.

Football Insider previously reported that the England international would likely be sold to ease the profit and sustainability concerns if an offer was tabled this summer.

In other news, Man United are unwilling to meet Everton’s asking price for defensive star.
