Micheal Keane could leave Everton this summer if Jarrad Branthwaite stays at the club.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Keane could be deemed surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.

Sources state that multiple more big-name exits are set to take place at Everton in this window, with Ben Godfrey having already departed the club.

Keane could follow him out of the door if Branthwaite stays and the Merseyside club bring in new defenders.

Branthwaite has been the subject of heavy transfer speculation this summer, with the England international being seen as an option for several top Premier League teams.

Everton have priced the 22-year-old at £70million, Football Insider revealed, which has put off Man United after their initial £35m bid was knocked back.

Throughout his time at Everton, Keane has played 212 games in all competitions and scored 13 goals.
