The countdown is well and truly on for the start of Nottingham Forest’s 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
It will be full steam ahead for the Reds’ preparations this week as pre-season begins and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side return to action. A trip to face Chesterfield on Saturday marks their first friendly of the summer.

Squad strengthening
The Reds have made a solid start to the transfer window. They have done some good business so far, with considered decisions taken.
Three new faces have come through the doors in Marko Stamenic, Eric da Silva Moreira and Elliot Anderson – albeit midfielder Stamenic is to spend the season on loan at Olympiacos. But there is still a fair bit of work to do when it comes to shaping Nuno’s squad.
This summer was never going to require a mass overhaul. However, the Portuguese will want to make sure there is balance to the dressing room and he has strength in depth in all areas.
