Over the past few weeks, good news has been flowing out of the doors at the Stadium of light.

A new permanent Sunderland manager was finally appointed in late June with Regis Le Bris taking the role. This was soon followed by the release of the home kit and wonderkid Chris Rigg signing a new contract.

However, one overbearing issue has been the future of the stars of the Sunderland squad. Jack Clarke and Bellingham have been linked away from the club throughout 2024.

Now, going into the start of pre-season, fans have now got an answer as to where Bellingham’s future lies.

Despite only signing from Birmingham City last summer, Bellingham was not short of suitors this summer.

The midfielder was attracting interest from the Premier League and top European sides with the hope that he could reach the potential of his brother, Jude Bellingham.

Now, the youngster’s future at Sunderland for the 2024/25 campaign has been clarified. Renowned transfer expert Romano shared an exclusive story on Monday stating that Bellingham is set to stay at Sunderland for the upcoming season.

The report stated that the midfielder wants to stay for one more campaign despite the current interest. Bellingham is believed to have trust in Sundelrand’s ambitious project.
