AC Milan are working on getting their attack fixed in place for the season ahead and Tammy Abraham has emerged as a target in addition to Alvaro Morata, a report claimed.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are close to convincing Morata to join them from Atletico Madrid. In addition to the Spaniard, however, the Rossoneri management could also buy another striker and in the last few days they had some talks with Roma for Abraham.
The Englishman is expected to leave the Giallorossi this summer and Milan have made it known that they are interested. At the moment, however, an agreement has not been reached between the clubs.
Milan would like to include Luka Jovic and another counterpart in the deal in order to lower the cash sum required, but Roma have other ideas and have therefore declined the hypothesis.
The parties could however reconvene in the coming days, especially because Milan’s plan is to purchase two forwards (Morata and another) in order to give Fonseca more options.
Abraham had a difficult last season as he spent most of it recovering from a knee ligament injury he suffered in the final game of 2022-23, but he is now back fully fit and at 26 years of age he is half a decade younger than Morata.
