La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus, Leicester City and West Ham United must resign themselves to the fact Matias Soulé has his heart set on Roma.
The Argentine talent impressed last season on loan at Frosinone and now the Bianconeri want to sell for over €30m to use that cash for other transfers.
So far, the only proposals have reached €25m plus another €5m in add-ons, but there is one very important distinction.
It is reported that Soulé has absolutely no intention of moving to the Premier League and wants to continue his growth process in Serie A.
Soulé only wants Roma
This gives Roma confidence they can get a deal done, especially as their performance-related bonuses are also easier to achieve than the ones put forward by Leicester City.
The same Gazzetta dello Sport article insists that enthusiasm is precisely why Roma turned towards Soulé rather than Federico Chiesa, who kept them waiting so that he could wait for more interesting proposals.
