Leeds United’s summer sale is about to write another chapter as Fabrizio Romano reports another Elland Road player is about to leave and join a European club, imminently.

Already this summer, Leeds have agreed six permanent sales. Four players have left on loan, while many others have seen their contracts expire including the likes of Liam Cooper, Ian Poveda and Cody Drameh.

Archie Gray headlines the six sales after his £40m move to Tottenham, while Glen Kamara has swapped Yorkshire for France. The 59-time Finland international has joined Ligue 1 side Rennes on a four-year deal.

Kris Klaesson, Diego Llorente, Marc Roca and Charlie Cresswell have also been sold. Jack Harrison, Sonny Perkins, Sam Greenwood and Darko Gyabi have gone on loan, the latter to Wayne Rooney’s Plymouth.

Romano reports Leeds man due to reunite with Robin Koch

Leeds have now sorted out the future of six of Victor Orta’s loan army. Two of the eight-strong group remain, namely Max Wober and Rasmus Kristensen with both in Germany this summer at Euro 2024.

But for Kristensen, that may not be true much longer. The 27-year-old is closing in on a move back to Germany and to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, where he will reunite with defender Robin Koch.

Reports said that the Leeds man is more likely to go on loan as Frankfurt are unwilling to meet demands. Now, Romano says a deal is ‘imminent’, initially joining Frankfurt on loan with the option of a £15m buy.
