Reports from Sweden suggest that Roma have agreed a deal with Djurgarden for Samuel Dahl and have planned out his medicals ahead of the move.
The Giallorossi have been fairly quiet in the incoming transfer market, only signing Enzo Le Fee from Stade Rennais and Mathew Ryan on a free transfer. They’ve been heavily linked with a move for Matias Soule, but haven’t managed to find an agreement with Juventus yet.
Daniele De Rossi is gearing up for his first full season in charge of Roma and wants a balanced squad with viable backup options. He believes Djurgarden’s Dahl would be a strong alternative to Angelino, prompting the club to push for a move.
Roma agree Dahl deal
As reported by Daniel Kristoffersson of Sportbladet, Roma and Djurgarden have reached a total agreement regarding a deal for Dahl following a round of talks on Tuesday evening. The Italian side have agreed to pay around €4m plus circa €2m in add-ons for the left back.
The 21-year-old Swede has already agreed to sign a five-year contract and will land in the Italian capital in the coming days, with the plan being to complete his medicals before the end of this week.
